Police Log: Juvenile Arrested After Crashing Through Fence

Tuesday, Sept. 16

At 9:44 a.m., police reported vandalism of graffiti on a wall on Winslow Avenue.

At 12:19 p.m., police received an assault complaint by a person who claimed to be punched in the face at a party.

At 6:28 p.m., police reported a motor vehicle accident near Dean Street and Neponset Street. Norwood Fire Department was notified.

At 10:52 p.m., police arrested Steven W. Brant Jr., 27, 25 Richardson St., Apt. 2 of North Attleboro, for disorderly conduct, assault and battery and resisting arrest.

Wednesday, Sept. 17

At 7:02 a.m., police reported a suspicious vehicle with a smashed windshield and side damage on Davis Avenue.

At 1:14 p.m., police reported a brush fire in the parking lot of Sky Restaurant on Providence Highway. Norwood Fire Department responded.

At 9:57 p.m., police reported shoplifting at Newbury Comics on Providence Highway. The shoplifter was detained and the store did not press charges.

Thursday, Sept. 18

At 2:18 a.m., police arrested a juvenile for the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding on Edgehill Road. A caller reported that the juvenile crashed through a fence and struck a parked vehicle.
