Police Log: Medication Stolen From Vehicle

Monday, Sept. 15
At 7:02 a.m., police reported a motor vehicle accident where a deer was hit on University Avenue. Walpole Animal Control responded to the incident.
At 5:39 p.m., police reported shoplifting at For Eyes Optical Store on Nathan Street.

At 6:23 p.m., police received a report of a drunk driver on Savin Avenue. The suspect’s husband told police her husband was drunk and drove away from their home. Police located the suspect inside 7-Eleven and the suspect’s daughter picked him up.
At 7:36 p.m., police reported larceny on Dean Street. A caller told police that she believed someone stole her son’s medication.

At 10:46 p.m., police reported a larceny on Providence Highway. A caller reported that her medicine was stolen from her vehicle. Caller found the medication when police arrived.
Tuesday, Sept. 16
At 2:08 a.m., police reported a road hazard of a water leak near Pleasant Street and Willow Street.
At 5:55 a.m., police reported a telephone pole and wires on the ground on Canton Street. Norwood Light Department was notified.
