Route 1 Fight, Drugged Driving, And More: Norwood Police Log

May 19
3:30 p.m. - A Marlboro Street resident cleaning her yard told police that it looks likes someone may be living on the Highland Cemetery property that abuts her fence. Police found no evidence of anyone living there and the resident said they will set up a camera and will let police know if she sees anything.
5:15 p.m. - A fight that resulted in a car crash at the intersection of Route 1 and University Avenue was reported.

May 20
2:19 a.m. - During a traffic stop near BMW Gallery on Route 1, Ronald Wain, 24, of Norwood, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of drugs and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

May 21
11:00 a.m. - A caller at Norwood High School on Nichols Street reported a dog in a vehicle. An officer reported that the windows were open with water in the vehicle and the dog did not seem in distress.
