NORWOOD, MA — Christmas may be over, but that doesn't mean porches and walkways are safe from thieves.
Two men were caught on camera stealing rock salt from a home on Gay Street on Dec. 26 at 6:44 p.m. Police say one of the suspects can be seen exiting the vehicle and taking a bucket of rock salt right from the walkway in front of the house. The light-colored pickup with a toolbox in the background is believed to be the getaway vehicle.
Following the incident, Norwood Police is reminding residents to not leave items out that are visible from the street, including rock salt, shovels, and bicycles.
