The first one goes into effect June 1 and the next one starts Jan. 1.

NORWOOD, MA — Norwood residents will be paying a little more for electricity next month and even more on New Year's Day 2018.
The Norwood selectmen voted this week to increase the town's rates by 5.9 percent effective June 1 and another 5.9 percent on January 1.
Light Department Superintendent James Collins told the selectmen that the increase is needed to cover increased costs, according to the Norwood Record.
