Overheard on Facebook and Twitter

Here is a sampling of comments and happenings on our Facebook page and the social media world from the past week:

• When Norwood Patch editor made the annoucement that the summer intern, would be taking over for the week — two people "liked" the post! Thanks!
• One reader commented on a post about Norwood's summer concerts. Although busy, she said she'll try to attend some of the concerts on the Common.
• Perhaps the biggest feature this week was . Several "likes" were made on our Facebook page and about 30 people "recommended" the letter to their own Facebook friends. Social media at its finest!
• And finally, several people congratulated on reaching Whiz Kid of the Week status. One reader posted, "Wow! Way to be awesome, Joey!"
