Third OUI, Shoplifting, and More: Norwood Police Log

April 1

12:10 p.m. - A shoplifter was reported at TJ Maxx on Nahatan Street.

5:09 p.m. - While assisting with church traffic, an officer was flagged down by a person who reported a drunk driver. The suspect, Joshua Travers, 33, of Norwood, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor and possession of an open container of alcohol.

April 2

1:37 a.m. - Follow a car crash on Pendergast Circle, Miguelanjelo Pires, 27, of Randolph, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, marked lanes violation, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

April 5

3:18 p.m. - Alex Francillon, 35, of Norwood, was arrested at TJ Maxx on Nahatan Street and charged with shoplifting over $100 by concealing merchandise. Francillon also had three active warrants.

8:05 p.m. - Following a car crash at the intersection of Walpole Street and Walnut Avenue, John White, 55, of Walpole, was arrested and charged with operating under the unfluence of liquor, third offense; negligent operation of a motor vehicle; and a state highway traffic violation.
