Two Arrested On Drug Charges Following Warrant Search: Police
Police say one of the suspects was arrested on a drug charge for the second time in about a month.
NORWOOD, MA — Two Norwood men face drug charges after officers found crack cocaine while executing a search warrant, police confirmed.
Michael Ashley and Keaun Anderson were both arrested Thursday, according to the Norwood Police Department. Both were charged with possession of a firearm, improper storage of a firearm, possession of ammunition and possession with intent to distribute cocaine and possession with the intent to distribute marijuana.
On July 27, Norwood police along with NORPAC member agencies executed a search warrant at a home on Whitewood Circle in Norwood. Ashley was the subject of an extensive investigation conducted by Detective Lopes and Detective Sergeant Curran into the distribution of crack cocaine, police said.

During the execution of the search warrants, police seized crack cocaine, cash, packaging materials, scales and a loaded firearm were seized
Police say Ashley has a past history of firearm possession and distribution of narcotics. For Anderson, the arrest was the second time he was taken into custody by Norwood police for distributing narcotics.
