UTI-Norwood Wins School of Excellence Award
UTI Norwood joins eight other UTI campuses that have been recognized as Schools of Excellence since 2014.

From UTI: The Norwood campus of Universal Technical Institute has been named a 2018 School of Excellence, the most prestigiousinstitutional achievement award given by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC).
“At UTI-Norwood, our first commitment is always to deliver a high-quality education that provides long-term benefits to our students, graduates and employer partners,” said Shawn Alexander, UTI-Norwood Campus President. “This award is a true testament to the operational excellence of our campus, and we’re proud to be recognized for state-of-the-industry training programs, exceptional graduation rates and long record of educational success.”
UTI-Norwood, along with fellow 2018 School of Excellence UTI-Sacramento, join eight other UTI campuses that have been recognized as Schools of Excellence since 2014. Last year, campuses in Dallas/Fort Worth and Exton, PA were among just 15 ACCSC-accredited schools to receive the award. ACCSC accredits 700 institutions across the nation.
According to ACCSC Associate Executive Director Christopher Lambert, “ACCSC is incredibly proud of the work being done by UTI-Norwood to deliver high quality educational programs that provide meaningful opportunities for students to enter the workforce with in-demand skills. We are committed to continuing to partner with UTI to explore innovations that put students first and which contribute to workforce development in the United States.”
UTI-Norwood and UTI-Sacramento will be formally recognized by ACCSC at the 2018 Professional Development Conference, Sept. 25 - 27, 2018, in Long Beach, California.
