NORWOOD, MA — Police say a man wanted in a Norwood credit card fraud case may be connected to a similar incident in Dedham.
On Nov. 3, the pictured suspect swiped two cloned credit cards at Walgreens in Norwood on Route 1, according to Mass. Most Wanted. The suspect bought several $400 Amazon gift cards as well as other merchandise. He showed an out of state identification that the clerk remembers a partial name of "Christian V." listed on it and drove what looked like a 2016 Kia Optima, police said.
The next day, a person who looked like the suspect and drove the same car tried to purchase a $500 Visa Vanilla gift card at the Walgreens on Route 1 in Dedham, but the cards were declined and he walked out when the clerk asked for identification.
