Police say a man took a donation can from the Mobil Gas Station on Route 1 while a woman distracted the clerk.

NORWOOD, MA — Police are trying to figure out the identity of two people who were caught on camera stealing a can filled with donations for charity.

Surveillance footage from the Mobil Gas Station on Route 1 in Norwood shows the two suspects, a man and a woman, walking into the store Saturday. As the woman distracts the clerk, the man swipes a Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and Multiple Sclerosis Society donation can before walking out.

Police say they have the suspects' license plate number, but the vehicle came back as stolen out of Framingham.
