It's election day in Norwood and with several races on the town ballot you want to make sure your voice is heard - but where to do that?

There are several places in Norwood to place your vote depending on where you live in town. To find out where specifically, visit the Elections Division "My Election Infomation" page and type in your address.

There is a seat open on the planning board, with candidates Bill Bamber and Debbie Holmwood running. Bamber is a longtime incumbent looking for his tenth term on the board. Holmwood, the challenger, is a town meeting member with a real estate background.

School Committee members Bill Plasko Jr. and Mark Joseph are both running for reelection unopposed.

Fifteen-year incumbent to the housing authority Patricia Griffin Starr is seeking reelection to her seat against challenger Joe Rich.

There are also three candidates for two seats on the Board of Selectmen for Norwood. Joseph Welch, Paul Bishop and Allan Howard all have deep-seated ties to the Norwod community and cited the budget as a major issue for the coming year.
