2 Charged In Peabody, Salem Fentanyl Distribution Drug Bust: Police
Peabody police said a Lynn man and Peabody man were charged in a joint investigation involving the Salem and Peabody departments.
PEABODY, MA — A Peabody and Salem police joint investigation into North Shore drug distribution that Peabody police said "is far from over" led to charges against a Lynn man and Peabody man in Peabody District Court this week.
Police said the suspects were arrested on Tuesday with Sterling Cuello-Soto, 31, of Lynn facing fentanyl trafficking and drug distribution charges and Thomas Gallant, 38, of Peabody, facing drug possession and distribution charges.
Both were scheduled to appear in Peabody District Court on Thursday.

"The arrests were made after a comprehensive investigation, demonstrating the commitment and cooperation between the Peabody and Salem police departments in addressing the serious issue of drug trafficking and distribution within the community," Peabody police said in a news release. "The investigation is far from over.
"We are diligently evaluating further evidence and additional charges may be forthcoming."
