2 Seriously Injured, Lynn Woman Charged, In Peabody Pedestrian Strike

Peabody police said two juveniles sustained serious injuries after they were hit in the area of 106 Lynn Street on Friday afternoon.

PEABODY, MA — A Lynn woman was charged with driving with a suspended license after two juveniles and their mother were hit walking across the street in the area of 106 Lynn Street on Friday afternoon.

Peabody police said both juveniles sustained serious injuries and were taken to Mass General Hospital for treatment. Police did not indicated whether the mother sustained any injuries.

The pedestrian strike happened about 3 p.m. and Peabody police, Peabody fire, Massachusetts State Police and Atlantic Ambulance all responded.

Police said Ovidia Lopez-Esteban, of Lynn, was taken into custody on the suspended license charge while police continue to investigate the incident.
