Brooksby Village Resident Scammed Out of $2,735
A brief summary of arrests, motor vehicle accidents and crimes investigated by Peabody police.

The following is an excerpt from the Peabody Police log from Tuesday, March 8 through Wednesday, March 9.
Tuesday:
- At 2:48 p.m., police arrested a Peabody man following a motor vehicle stop at A & L Liquors at 54-56 Foster St. Ronald A. Dominguez, 32, of 5 Tanners Court, in Peabody, was charged with operating a motor vehicle after license was revoked and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
- At 3:32 p.m., police received a missing person's report from a Walnut Street resident who told police her daughter had been missing since Jan. 5. Police entered the female adult name into the LEAPS system as a missing person.
- At 4:36 p.m., police reported vandalism at a Ledgewood Way residence where the caller told police someone keyed the driver's side door of his vehicle.
- At 4:56 p.m., police summonsed a Peabody man at 259 Lowell St. for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and illegal passing.
- At 5:37 p.m., police reported that a Brooksby Village resident told them she was scammed out of $2,735 in a case of fraud.
- At 9:17 p.m., police summonsed a Lynn man following a motor vehicle stop at 85 Main St. for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and and speeding in violation of special regulation.
- At 11:44 p.m., police summonsed a Weare, N.H., woman for assault and battery at T&L Liquors on 637 Lowell St.

- At 12:23 p.m., police reported vandalism at an Arnold Road residence when the caller told them someone had damaged his vinyl fence.
- At 1:01 p.m., police notified the Department of Public Services about a large pothole that was created at 81 Lowell St. and 2 Roosevelt Ave. when a sewer grate collapsed and left a large hole.
