Business Nominations Sought For Peabody Area Chamber INCredible Awards

The second annual awards night celebrates local businesses and individuals in Peabody, Lynnfield, Middleton and Danvers.

PEABODY, MA — Local businesses in Danvers, Middleton, Lynnfield and Peabody will be celebrated and honored at the second annual Peabody Area Chamber of Commerce INCredible Awards.

The event is June 6 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Olio Peabody with a cocktail presentation and awards ceremony. Nominations for those local business awards are currently being sought.

"We were overwhelmed by the tremendous feedback we received from last year's inaugural event, which truly showcased incredible talent and dedication within our community," Peabody Area Chamber of Commerce President Deanne Healey said. "It's essential to recognize these individuals and businesses that go above and beyond, as they are the driving force in the community.

"The INCredible Awards provide a platform to celebrate their achievements and hopefully inspire others to strive for excellence."

To be eligible for nomination, individuals or businesses must be members of the Peabody Area Chamber of Commerce, with the exception of nominees for the First Responder, Community Champion, or People's Choice award categories.

Nominations can be submitted online here.

Each nomination should include a comprehensive description detailing why the individual or business deserves recognition, along with specific examples of their outstanding achievements and contributions to the community.

Nominations will be reviewed by a committee of Peabody Area Chamber members with up to three finalists selected per category.

The INCredible Awards feature a diverse range of award categories, including:

• Champion of Diversity Award sponsored by Northeast Arc

• Business of the Year sponsored by Gravoc

• Minority Business Enterprise Award sponsored by Peabody TV

• Nonprofit of the Year sponsored by North Shore Bank

• Family Business of the Year sponsored by Aflac/Feazel Benefits Inc.

• Young Professional of the Year (sponsorship available)

• First Responder Award sponsored by JJR Enterprise LLC

• Community Champion sponsored by DeMatos Landscaping

• Mary Upton Ferrin Award sponsored by Peabody Area Chamber

• Harry Ankeles Award sponsored by Peabody Area Chamber

New to this year's awards is the People's Choice Award, allowing members of the community to nominate their favorite local businesses for recognition. Voting for the People's Choice Award opens on May 1.
