Catch Some Classic Trax Sunday Night

The city's summer concert series concludes with a performance by Classic Trax.

Mayor Edward A. Bettencourt, Jr., is pleased to announce the last concert of the Annual Summer Concert Series. It will take place on Sunday, Aug. 26 from 6-8 p.m. and will feature the return of Classic Trax.

Classic Trax has entertained New England for over a decade, playing classic hits of yesterday and the best Trax of today! This award winning group (Boston’s best cover band: 1999, 2000 and 2003) offers an extensive song list combining old and new music. Performing at functions throughout the New England area regularly, Classic Trax has also traveled to Philadelphia, Nashville and as far as Aruba for wedding receptions.

The Classic Trax band consists of Greg Swartz (lead vocals and percussion), Paul Giovine (drums), Pat Wallace (guitar and vocals), Spencer Hargis (bass and vocals) and Steve Pratt (keyboards, sax, guitar and vocals).

Mayor Bettencourt is thrilled to announce there will be a very special “treat” for everyone in attendance at the last concert so be sure to join us!

All concerts are held on the , Lowell Street, downtown Peabody. In case of rain, concerts will move to Wiggin Auditorium. Admission is free and these concerts are open to the public. For more information please contact the Mayor’s office at 978-538-5704.
