The “Building Futures” Auction to benefit Bishop Fenwick High School will take place on Friday, April 1 from 5:30 to 10:30 PM at the Danversport Yacht Club. The auction features a sit-down dinner, cash bar, and lots of opportunities to win items with quickie boards, raffles, a super-raffle, silent auction, and live auction. The Building Futures Auction is a critical component of the Campaign for Fenwick, a fundraising effort to support the 2010-2011 operating budget at Bishop Fenwick High School. Funds raised support the educational services and community service programs for Fenwick students from 49 North Shore cities and towns. Fenwick’s commitment to service has made, and continues to make, a big impact on our communities and the world. The theme, “Building Futures” refers to the opportunities that Fenwick experience provides for their students, as well as the futures that Fenwick students’ affect through their commitment to public service and outreach.
The auction items offer a tantalizing array of items including vacations to the Marriott Grand Vista Resort Villa in Orlando, and many ski and stay packages. There will also be plenty of tickets to be had - Red Sox, Celtics, Patriots, Bruins, Kenny Chesney and more. For the electronics enthusiast, there are Kindles, iPods and GPS devices. And of course many fine dining certificates and opportunities for the wine enthusiast. This event also features a Super Raffle with chances to win 4 Katy Perry Concert tickets or an iPad (32 GB, Wi-Fi).
