The Alzheimer’s Partnership (a collaborative effort of community agencies and family caregivers who serve those with Alzheimer’s disease to enhance both the availability and quality of community resources for dementia victims and their families) will hold their thirteenth annual conference Saturday, Nov. 5, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at the Holiday Inn, 1 Newbury St., Route 1 North.
The keynote address will be presented by Dr. Scott McGinnis, Division of Cognitive and Behavioral Neurology, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, assistant professor of psychiatry, Harvard Medical School. Workshop topics are: embracing the journey; managing challenging behaviors, and expressive arts therapy, bringing art to life. The wrap-up speaker will be elder law attorney Stephen Spano.
Cost: $10, payable at the door; cash or check only. Social work and nursing CEU credits are available for attendees for an additional $25.
