Finally, Spring Has Returned to Peabody

The official first day of spring falls on March 21, but this year it has taken spring a little longer to arrive in Peabody just as Easter falls on April 24 this year.

But finally, after a not so funny April Fool's Day snowstorm and a few starts and stops, city residents can now enjoy spring after enduring a long, hard winter.

This week's viewfinder shot by photographer Christine Cloutier shows show city residents are enjoying spring by either raking their yards and planting their gardens to just getting outside and enjoying the warmer weather.

Let's just hope Old Man Winter is really through with us.
