'Find Your Voice!': Peabody Launches Summer Teen Reading Campaign
The first event of the summer is an ice cream sundae party, which will take place on June 28 at 3 p.m. at the Peabody Library main branch.

PEABODY, MA — The Peabody Library will launch its summer children and teen reading program — themed "Find Your Voice!" this season —with an ice cream sundae kickoff party later this month.
The ice cream bash is set for June 28 at 3 p.m. where teens can learn about the program while enjoying some ice cream.
A series of additional events will begin July 10 in the main library teen room on Mondays through Thursdays for teens and tweens entering grades 6 through 12.

The "Find Your Voice!" initiative encourages children and teens to read books this summer that help them develop their own creativity and expression.
The two branch libraries will also have themed to-go kits for teens available for pickup. The themes for each week are as follows:

July 24 - 27: Creative Writing
July 31 - August 3: Music
August 7 - 10: Comic Art
August 14 - 17: Painting & Art
Registration is strongly suggested but not required. Registration can be done here.
