Where/When: Peabody Bikeway entrance is located on North Shore Road behind the Northshore Mall and is open every day..Now that spring is in full swing, this weekend is the perfect time for families to break out their bicycles and cruise up and down the Peabody Bikepath and get some exercise.

Why go: Well-maintained, city facility offers families a safe and enjoyable place to enjoy bicycling.

Where/When: The Lexington Monument, corner of Washington an Sewall streets, 10 a.m.

Why go: Great opportunity to teach kids about the role Peabody residents played in the Battle of Lexington and Concord and the Revolutionary War.
