Free Peabody Car Show To Support Local Mental Health, Family Aid Work

The Peabody PROMISE event will feature up to 100 vehicles and support mental health, anti-bullying and family aid programs.

PEABODY, MA — Peabody residents and car enthusiasts are invited to the First Annual Peabody PROMISE Car Show.

The event is set for May 3 from 8 a.m. to noon in the medical building parking lot on Roosevelt Avenue.

The morning will bring together classic car enthusiasts, local businesses and community members while raising money for Peabody PROMISE.

The show will include antique automobiles, classic vehicles, muscle cars, sports cars and specialty builds.

Admission is free for the public.

Vehicle pre-registration is required, and space is limited to 100 vehicles, according to the announcement. Registration includes an optional $50 tax-deductible donation made directly to Peabody PROMISE. Sponsorships also are available at multiple levels, and the announcement states that all donations are tax deductible.

Proceeds from vehicle registration and sponsorships will support Peabody PROMISE's work in advancing mental health awareness and accessibility, supporting anti-bullying and suicide prevention efforts, strengthening community resources for families in need, and assisting residents facing hardship.

Awards will include Best in Show, People's Choice, Best Classic, Best Muscle Car, Best Antique, Best Sports Car, and Community Impact.

The car show is intended not only to showcase automotive history, but also to build hope and opportunity in the community.
