The fifth installment in the city's free summer concert series is this weekend.

[The following was submitted by Mayor Bettencourt's office.]
Mayor Edward A. Bettencourt, Jr., is pleased to announce the fifth concert of the Annual Summer Concert Series. It will take place on Sunday, Aug. 19 from 6-8 p.m. and will feature one of our favorite groups, North Shore Acappella.
North Shore Acappella recently appeared on NBC’s “The Sing Off” and represented Massachusetts admirably and we are very happy to have them performing for us again. For the last 27 years, North Shore Acappella has entertained and excited thousands of listeners throughout the Boston area, adding an experienced blend of harmony, rhythm and tempo to songs from the 40s right up through today. This special art of delivering music without instrumental accompaniment is what North Shore Acappella is all about.
