Stocker, after battling cancer for 13 years and inspiring many others to continue the fight for a cure, died on March 5. She was 59. She was chosen as the Huffington Post's Greatest Person of the Day on Thursday.
Fr. Frank Toste, a long-time Peabody teacher and founder of the high school’s drama department in 1970, died July 6, following a brief illness. He was 85.
Joncarlos Perez, 18, of Peabody and a recent graduate of PVMHS, died last Saturday in a car accident in the Dominican Republic. A memorial service is being held June 18 at Calvary Christian Church in Lynnfield at 3 p.m.
