Obituary: Patricia A (Cavanaugh) Putnam, Raised and Educated in Peabody
Employed for over 10 years as a secretary with the Holden Oil Company in Peabody.

Patricia A (Cavanaugh) Putnam, 80, of Moultonborough, NH and formerly of Peabody, died unexpectedly on Thursday evening at her home in New Hampshire. She was the devoted wife of Ralph K. Putnam with whom she shared nearly 60 years of marriage.
Born in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary (Welch) Cavanaugh. She was raised and educated in Peabody and was a graduate of Peabody High School, class of 1952.

Patricia was employed for over 10 years as a secretary with the Holden Oil Company in Peabody. She enjoyed playing tennis and while living in New Hampshire, was a member of the Moultonborough Women’s Club. She was an avid reader, and extremely proud of her Irish heritage.
Besides her loving husband, Patricia is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Lisa Putnam of Moultonborough, her brothers Robert Cavanaugh of Ipswich and Paul Cavanaugh of Key West, FL, her sister, Phyllis Meagher of Peabody and by her two beloved grandchildren, Kayla and Nicholas Putnam.

Following cremation, her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00 AM at St. Ann’s Church, Lynn St., Peabody followed by burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
