Peabody Bridge Work To Cause Trail, Traffic Restrictions
Work will affect trail widths on the Kristen Crowley Spur Trail on the East Coast Greenway and traffic on Lowell Street.
PEABODY, MA — Residents who use the Kristen Crowley Spur Trail and those who travel on Lowell Street should expect some disruptions and restrictions starting on July 8 to accommodate bridge repair work under Route 95.
The state Department of Transportation said trail width reductions will remain in place Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for the duration of the work.
MassDOT said drivers on Lowell Street should reduce speed and use caution. Short-term overnight work should be expected on Lowell Street to complete fencing repairs on the underside of the bridge.
