Peabody Break-In Suspect In Custody: Police

PEABODY, MA — Peabody police said Thursday night a man suspected of multiple car break-ins in downtown Peabody was in custody.

Peabody residents and visitors to the downtown area were advised to lock their cars when unattended as police searched for the man they suspect of being involved in multiple vehicle break-ins this week.

Police said Ryan Hussein, 29, had an active warrant out for his arrest.

"Please remember to lock your cars," police said, "and contact the non-emergency number (978-531-1212) with any information."
