Peabody Crash Downs Route 114 Pole; Drivers Urged To Avoid Area
Peabody police were asking drivers to stay clear of the area of 49 Andover Street late Wednesday morning.
PEABODY, MA — A Peabody crash on Route 114 downed a utility pole and caused police to urge drivers to avoid the area of 49 Andover Street late Tuesday morning.
Police said the utility pole was "impeding traffic in both directions" between Buttonwood Lane and Esquire Drive at about 11 a.m.
There was no report of injuries or cause of the crash as of late Tuesday morning.
