Peabody Firefighters Battle Winter Conditions In Pair Of Blazes
For the second time in three days, firefighters put out residential fires amid snow, rain and wind Wednesday night.
PEABODY, MA — For the second time in three days Peabody firefighters battled residential blazes in wintry conditions on Wednesday night.
After knocking down a kitchen fire in an apartment complex on Sabino Farm Road Monday night, crews were out working a basement fire in a single-family home on Lynnfield Street on Wednesday night.
"These fires were extinguished quickly preventing total losses in both cases," Peabody Firefighters Local 925 said.

No injuries were reported in either fire.
The firefighters dealt with the aftermath of a late-afternoon snow rush on Monday and amid a wind-swept rain on Wednesday night.
