Peabody Free Yard Waste Curbside Pickup Begins Next Month

Pickup will occur during four weeks on a resident's regular trash pickup day.

PEABODY, MA — As the massive snow piles finally melt across the North Shore, what's left are some of the leaves that were left over from early winter weather that hit the region late this past fall.

Peabody residents looking to rid their properties of last year's refuse can do so during four free curbside yard waste collection dates starting the week of April 13.

"My office has received several calls from residents looking for help in getting rid of dead leaves and brush," Mayor Ted Bettencourt said. "In response, I have scheduled a series of free curbside yard waste collection days."
