Peabody Mail Carrier Robbed At Gunpoint: Police
Peabody police said the mail carrier reported being robbed early Wednesday afternoon.
PEABODY, MA — A Peabody mail carrier was robbed at gunpoint on Veterans Memorial Drive early Wednesday afternoon, according to police.
Peabody police said the mail carrier reported that he was approached from behind at about 12:30 p.m. and that the suspect brandished a black gun and demanded his keys to the postal boxes.
Police said the victim described the suspect as an African-American man in his late 20s approximately 5-foot-8 with a skinny build. Police said they believe he was wearing a puffy black jacket with a yellow hoodie and a blue face mask.
