Peabody Man Hits On $10 Million Instant Lottery Ticket
David Coulter bought the winning ticket at E Market on Lowell Street.

PEABODY, MA — A Peabody man's trip to E Market on Lowell Street made him a "Rich" man in January.
The Massachusetts Lottery said David Coulter was the first winner of the $10 million "Winter Riches" instant ticket game.
Coulter opted to take his payment in a one-time payment of $6.500.000 before taxes.

He told the Lottery he plans on using a portion of his winnings to assist his parents.
The winning ticket was bought at E Market on Lowell Street in Peabody. E Market will receive a $50,000 bonus for selling the winning scratch ticket.
