Peabody Man Hits For $2 Million On Scratch Ticket

Michael Dodge won the grand prize in the $10 "$2,000,000 50X Cashword" game.

PEABODY, MA — A Peabody man cashed in on a $10 scratch ticket to the tune of the grand prize in the "$2,000,000 50X Cashword" instant game.

Michael Dodge chose the cash option and received a one-time payment of $1.3 million before taxes.

He told the Massachusetts State Lottery that he plans to use some of the money to pay off his truck.

Dodge bought the ticket at the 7-Eleven on Boston Road in North Billerica. That store receives a $20,000 bonus for selling the ticket.
