Peabody Mom Begs Thief To Return Medical Equipment In Stolen Van

The woman's two-year old daughter suffers from spinal muscular dystrophy.

PEABODY, MA -- A thief or thieves made off with more than a family minivan Thursday. They also stole medical equipment for Arianna, a two-year-old Peabody girl who has spinal muscular dystrophy. The girl's mother, Marina Condon says she is feeling bitter and believes someone stole her keys when she went to the bathroom during a visit to the Peabody Institute Library.

"I want to believe that my children are growing up in a community where things like this wouldn’t happen, but I don’t know," Condon told Channel 7 News, which first reported this story. "It’s just pretty sad. I have a pretty bitter feeling."
