Peabody Open Spaces The Focus Of Virtual Public Forum
The March 15 forum will provide an update on the city's Recreation and Open Space Plan.

PEABODY, MA — Peabody will host a virtual public forum on March 15 to update residents on its Recreation and Open Space Plan.
The plan serves as the city's road map for conservation, acquisition, maintenance and improvement projects.
Peabody open spaces covered under the plan include parks, playgrounds, trails, greenways, bikeways, recreational facilities, farms, vacant lots and nature areas.

The goal of the plan is to enhance the quality of life for city residents by "protecting environmental resources and community character." The plan establishes goals and objectives, based on public input, and prioritizes actions to meet these goals and objectives over time.
