Peabody Police Arrest Four On Drug Charges Over Weekend

Two separate incidents netted four arrests for Peabody Police on Saturday.

PEABODY, MA -- Peabody Police arrested four people on drug charges Saturday. In the first incident, police responded to a call of suspicious activity in a parking lot at the corner of Holten and Main Streets at 5:19 pm. Police arrested three people, according to the Peabody Police log:

  • James J. McQuaid, 38, of Lynn, on charges of distribution of class A narcotics and conspiracy to violate drug laws.
  • Zara J. Zegarowski, 38, of Lynn, on charges of possession of a class D narcotic with intent to distribute, distribution of class A narcotics and conspiracy to violate drug laws.
  • Erin E. Lavorante, 36, of Salem, on charges of distribution of class A narcotics and conspiracy to violate drug laws.

Later that night, during a motor vehicle stop at 10:17 pm, police arrested Tammy M. Clegg, 47, of Lynn, on a charge of distribution of class D narcotic.
