Peabody Police Arrest Man, Woman Twice In Same Day
Shortly after Peabody Police released Leana Santoro and David Flores Wednesday night, the two were arrested for shoplifting.

PEABODY, MA -- Getting arrested is almost never good. Getting arrested twice in the same day is even worse. Peabody Police arrested David Flores, 39, and Leana Santoro, 38, both of 780 Albany Street in Boston at 8:23 pm Wednesday night and charged with shoplifting at the 7-Eleven at 79 Lowell Street, shortly after they had been released by Peabody Police following arrests earlier in the day.
Santoro had been arrested at 5:12 pm and charged with shoplifting after the loss prevention department at Sear's on Andover Street called police to say they had Santoro in custody. In addition to being charged with shoplifting by means of concealment (third offense), credit card fraud and trespassing, Santoro also had two outstanding warrants out of Boston.
At 6:17 pm, police responded to a report of an overdose at Sear's. Flores was transported to Lahey Hospital and issued a summons for possession of heroin.
