Peabody Police To Host 14th Citizens Academy This Fall

The two-month session runs on Wednesday nights starting on Oct. 12.

PEABODY, MA — The Peabody Police Department will run its 14th Citizens Police Academy this fall.

The Citizens Academy allows residents to learn about and gain interactive experience in several aspects of police work and officer responsibilities in the city. Topics include criminal investigations, crime scene processing, crime prevention and community policing.

The two-month session will run Wednesday nights from 6 to 9 beginning Oct. 12 through Dec. 14. The application deadline is Oct. 3.
