Peabody Police Officer Hit By Car Expected To Make Full Recovery
The officer suffered serious injuries to his head, neck and back while investigating a motor vehicle crash on Monday night.

PEABODY, MA -- The Peabody Police officer who was hit by a car on Monday night is expected to make a full recovery, the department said on its Facebook page. The officer, whose identity was not released, was with his family at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston after being hit by a car around 6 pm.
The officer was investigating a motor vehicle crash when he was struck by a passing car. He was bleeding from his head but conscious when he was transported to the hospital.
