Peabody Police Search Comes Up Empty

PEABODY, MA — Police searched part of South Peabody Monday evening after a reported break-in in a Peabody business earlier in the day. The suspect was not found, but police said they were looking for man with active warrants, Boston 25 reports.

The man is described as a 6-foot-4-inch white man with red/gray shorts. He's about 38, police said.

Part of the neighborhood was under a shelter-in-place for a short time as a helicopter assisted in the search.
