Peabody Police Seize Beretta, Ammunition In Gun Bust
Peabody police said a city man was charged following the warrant search of an Ayer Street home.
PEABODY, MA — A Beretta handgun with a high-capacity feeding device and ammunition were seized during a warrant search of an Ayer Street home, Peabody police said on Wednesday.
Police said a Salem police K9 unit and a federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives K9 unit assisted in the search warrant search.
Police said Andrew Johnson, 27, was charged with illegal possession of a firearm, five counts of illegal possession of ammunition, and the illegal possession of a high-capacity feeding device.
