Peabody Power Outage Puts 250 In The Dark
Peabody Municipal Light said most customers should be restored late Thursday morning.

UPDATED 10:45 a.m.
PEABODY, MA — About 250 Peabody homes were in the dark Thursday morning as crews worked to fix a power outage.
Peabody Municipal Light said the outage was reported at about 9 a.m.

By 9:35 a.m., the utility company said a majority of the customers should have their power restored "shortly" as "we continue to track down the problem that took out power."
Peabody Light said sections around Lynnfield Street would remain without power "until the problem can be found."

Peabody Light provided an update at about 10:30 that "power should be restored to all affected customers within the next 30 minutes."
