Peabody Preliminary Election Voter Guide: Candidates, Where To Vote
Three mayoral candidates are challenging for two spots on the November ballot with a contested battle for Ward 6 City Councilor as well.

PEABODY, MA — Three candidates are vying to be among the final two in the race to be the next mayor of Peabody, while Ward 6 residents will also have a vote for City Council, in Tuesday's preliminary election.
The preliminary election to narrow contests to two finalists on Nov. 7 includes only the mayoral race in Wards 1 through 5.
Incumbent Ted Bettencourt is running for re-election this year with challenges coming from small business owner Rochelle Agneta and longtime radio professional Rob Stevens.

The Ward 6 Council race to fill the seat of Mark O'Neil, who is not running for re-election, will have three names on the ballot — Michael Higgins, Ryan Cox and William Cardello.
The polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the following locations:

Ward 2: Precincts 1, 2 & 3 HOLY GHOST, 20 HOWLEY STREET

Ward 4: Precincts 1, 2 & 3 HIGGINS MIDDLE SCHOOL, 85 PERKINS STREET
