Peabody Puts Call Out For Cultural Grants

The Peabody Cultural Council is looking for applicants for creative and artistic programs in the community.

PEABODY, MA — The Peabody Cultural Council is encouraging schools, organizations and residents interested in running creative and artistic programs in the city to apply for grant funding.

Applications will be open from Sept. 1 through Oct. 17 to provide funds for projects including exhibits, classes, festivals, field trips, short-term artist residences, school performances, workshops and lectures.

The state legislature provides an annual appropriation to the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency, which then allocates funds to each community.
