Peabody 'Quieting The Silence' Talk On Mental Health, Substance Abuse
The open dialogue about recovery, substance abuse and mental health will be Thursday at Chabad of Peabody.
PEABODY, MA — The public is invited to an open discussion about the challenges of mental health, substance abuse and recovery called "Quieting The Silence" Thursday night at the Chabad of Peabody.
Jewish Support Anonymous invites those of all faiths to the program aimed at shining a light on the problems that have only been exacerbated since the COVID-19 pandemic. The night will include guest speakers and a group discussion.
"I have seen both in my position as a clergy person as well as within my own family the devastation wrought by addiction and mental health and I have made it a mission to try to bring down those walls of stigma," Rabbi Schusterman said.

The event will be at 682 Lowell Street with doors open for meeting and socializing at 7 p.m. and the program to begin at 7:30 p.m.
Light refreshments will be served.

While walk-ins are welcomed, organizers said that reservations here are appreciated to gauge attendance in advance.
