Peabody Senior Center To Host Free Pop-Up Pantry

The Salem Pantry will bring its mobile food pantry to the Torigian Senior Center parking lot on Sept. 24.

PEABODY, MA — Peabody residents will be able to pick up free food later this month when the Peabody Council on Aging hosts a Pop-Up Pantry at the Torigian Senior Center.

The event is scheduled for Sept. 24, from 1 to 3 p.m. in the PCOA parking lot at 79 Central Street in Peabody.

The event is being held in partnership with The Salem Pantry, which will bring its mobile food truck to the site. The Truck, their pantry on wheels, will be stocked with fresh produce, proteins, and pantry staples for the community to access, completely free of charge.

The food distribution is open to the public. All are welcome. No ID is required.

People who plan to attend can register when they arrive or complete registration in advance through an online intake form linked in the notice.
