Peabody, State Police Suspend Search For B&E Suspect
Police gave up when they determined that the man, who was considered dangerous, crossed the city line into Lynn.

PEABODY, MA -- Peabody and State Police suspended a search for a suspect in a breaking and entering Monday night. In a social media post, police said "The Peabody and State police have discontinued the search as it is believed that he has fled the city limits into Lynn where he has ties to. The Lynn Police will continue to look for him." The post did not make clear why the State Police, which also have jurisdiction in Lynn, suspended their search.
A little more than an hour before the search was suspended, police posted on social media that they were searching for a white man in the Aberdeen Avenue area. He was described as 6'4" and wearing a red shirt with gray shorts.
"Do not approach," Peabody Police said in a Facebook post. "Not know (sic) to be armed but should be considered dangerous."
