Peabody Students Earn Underclass, Baccalaureate Awards at Bishop Fenwick

Bishop Fenwick High School in Peabody released a list of Peabody students honored with 2026 underclass and baccalaureate awards.

PEABODY — Peabody students earned several baccalaureate and underclass awards at Bishop Fenwick High School for the end of the school year.

The recognition spans academics, fine arts, music, theology, service and campus involvement.

Allison Boe received the St. Genesius Award, which is awarded to a student who has made outstanding contributions to the drama program.

Olivia Homem was recognized for Pursuit of Excellence in English, while Tira Martin received Academic Excellence in Fine Arts.

Katherine Cunha received Academic Excellence in Math and the St. Julie Billiart Award, described as an award for a student dedicated to excellence, who possesses a realistic vision and hope for the future and who is thoroughly involved in life.

Alex Fobert received Pursuit of Excellence in Theology, and John Reilly was honored with Pursuit of Excellence in Social Studies and the John Philip Sousa Band Award, which recognizes superior musicianship and outstanding dedication.

Sara Zaimi received the Sr. Geraldine Burns, SND Award, which is awarded to a student who goes above and beyond in the commitment to faith, community, service and campus ministry.

Autumn Wiseman also was recognized with Pursuit of Excellence in Fine Arts.

Caroline Lapalme, of the Class of 2027, received the Clarkson University Achievement Award, given to a student with an academic interest in business, engineering, healthcare, science or liberal arts.

Other recipients included Emily Legault for Academic Excellence in Spanish II, Ohee Mahabub for Academic Excellence in Coding and Robotics, and Arteo Mehilli for Academic Excellence in United States History I CP1.

Maeve O'Donnell received Academic Excellence in Theology III and the University of Rochester Frederick Douglass & Susan B. Anthony Social Science Award.

David Kolenda received Band Honors, Academic Excellence in AP Precalculus, Academic Excellence in AP Chemistry and the University of Vermont Award.

Additional honorees were Luis Araujo Mendoza for Academic Excellence in Algebra II CP1, Joshua Miller for Academic Excellence in Environmental Science, Audrey McKenna for Academic Excellence in Geometry, Brianna Pacheco for Academic Excellence in Spanish I, Stella Carozza for Academic Excellence in Foundation in the Arts and Alexander Cunha for Academic Excellence in Health & Wellness I.
