Peabody Trail Reopens After 6-Week Project To Improve Drainage
The Massachusetts Department of Transportation's Shared Streets and Spaces Grant Program funded the Kristen Crowley Memorial Trail work.
PEABODY, MA — The Kristen Crowley Memorial Trail in Peabody is back open after a six-week project to repair drainage and mitigate erosion on the trailhead.
Money from the state Department of Transportation's Shared Streets and Spaces Grant program was used to fund the project that was contracted through T. Ford.
"During the past six weeks, some significant drainage improvements were completed on the trail," Peabody Mayor Ted Bettencourt said. "These will lessen the effects of trail erosion and eliminate ponding issues which had affected the area."
